Week 2!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend-I did! Trying to soak up the nice quiet moments of the fall before life gets too crazy. I love living in the NW-but I'll be honest, I miss the smells of home in the fall.
We had the department picnic on Friday night at Lake Padden. Delightful. It was nice to see everyone together and put names to faces. It was also nice to see everyone outside of a school/clinical setting.
Saturday morning I had my first day at Target-woot. Whatever--a job is a job when you're a student-and it will pay the bills.
After work, Syd's mom and sister came up from Seattle so we went for a walk downtown and had dinner. yum.
Sunday I worked again, then took a nap-yay. After napping, we went biking around down to Boulevard(?) Park and sat by the water. Hope to end up there again next weekend with a frisbee if it's nice out. Anyone game? Also want to check out the Copper Hog in B'ham-apparently they are the place to BE to watch soccer games.
