Temple Grandin

I'm excited to read through everyone's posts and see the impression she's making on all of us, as future SLPs. I also hope to read her book as soon as I have some free reading time! She really gives us a tiny look into the mysterious world of autism and what the world looks like through the eyes of someone with autism. I used to work as an aide with a few children with autism and I wish I would have known about her at that time. Looking back, I can pick out situations where Temple's insight would have been helpful during a communication breakdown. It's so inspiring to see an adult with autism so successful and open with sharing her world view and perception.
